Kevin Weise - Chair of the Members

A visionary and strategic-thinker, Kevin is the Managing Director to a group of companies which focus on the manufacture and supply of high-end furniture to interior designers across the UK and Europe.  Kevin’s prior career was in finance as Corporate Director for Lloyds Bank with many years' experience in managing teams of people and driving towards joint goals. Kevin is the Chair of our Members group having previously been the Chair of Governors of Eastrop and Southfield, GLT's founding academies.

Clive Bassett

Clive is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and recently completed the ICAEW Non-Executive Director Certificate. Through his career, Clive has worked in a variety of sectors and for organisations ranging from owner-managed business up to FTSE 25 corporations as well as spending time in KPMG.  Clive is an experienced finance professional and is currently the Finance Director for Sirona care & health CiC who deliver community health services in the Bristol and surrounding region.

Anthony Millard

Anthony is a graduate of LSE and Balliol College Oxford. Headmaster of two leading schools in the UK he was elected Chairman of the Boarding Schools Association. Before devoting himself full-time to Anthony Millard Consulting Ltd., he was Managing Director of Nord Anglia plc’s schools’ division and opened international schools in both Shanghai and Moscow.

One of the first stagiaires to train with the European Commission on Britain’s accession, in addition to his work with AMC Anthony was until recently Chairman of International British Schools which owns the highly successful British International School of New York which he helped to establish. Anthony was also a Governor of Geneva English School and Greensteds School in Kenya’s Rift Valley. He is currently Chairman of the Council of Trustees of Roedean School, a member of a UK multi-academy trust and is also a trustee of the Samaritans Organization who support people in distress and suffering extreme mental health situations.

Brett Jouny

Brett is the Headteacher of Malmesbury Secondary School, in North Wiltshire. He has worked in a range of secondary schools in the region in many different leadership capacities and has been a primary school vice chair of governors. Brett has completed two Masters degrees in education and leadership, he has recently completed the National Professional Qualification in Executive Leadership and is a Founding Fellow of the Chartered College of teaching
