Andrew Wilson

Chief Executive Officer (Interim)

Andrew is an experienced executive leader in maintained and academy structures. He was a Headteacher and Executive Headteacher in 5 primary schools before becoming the Director of Education then Deputy CEO of Grove Learning Trust. He is currently the Interim CEO.

Andrew has a strong track record of improving outcomes and opportunities for children and staff. He has completed his NPQH, has an MA in Education and is a level 5 qualified coach. He has recently completed his National Professional Qualification in Executive Leadership (NPQEL).

Danielle Gregory

Chief Finance Officer

Danielle is a qualified CIMA accountant of 10+ years and has worked in a range of sectors both in and out of education including manufacturing and engineering.

Danielle has worked across a few multi academy trusts and also in private education, so has a broad knowledge of all levels of finance within education from Nursery to Post 16 and Special provision.

Danielle is passionate about supporting school leaders and the wider trust to ensure that all funding is utilised in the best way possible to provide the best outcomes for children both now and into the future, in order for them to fulfil their potential.

Sarah Rutherford

Governance & Compliance Lead 

Sarah is an experienced governance professional, starting a career in governance in January 2019 clerking for multiple Swindon schools, varying between local authority maintained and academy trust governance structures.  From December 2019, Sarah continued clerking for multiple schools as well as assuming a role working closely with the GLT Trust Board and Members before developing into the role of Governance Lead. Prior to this, Sarah’s experience was within the HR and Recruitment field and includes working within large organisations such as Nationwide and WH Smith. Sarah has passed with merit the Certificate in Corporate Governance with the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland.

Cassie Shackleford

HR Business Partner  

Cassie Shackleford joined GLT, starting her role as People & HR Lead in November 2023. Cassie holds the Level 5 CIPD qualification in people management and human resources. Cassie is an experienced HR professional and has worked in large & complex organisations, such as Dyson and the Ministry of Defence, within the HR field.

Hayley Mathieson

Finance & Payroll Manager  

Hayley holds a level 3 certificate in book keeping and accounting with the International Association of Bookkeepers, and a level 3 NVQ in payroll. She is currently studying to attain her accreditation with CIMA. After a career predominatly in finance and payroll, she joined our first two schools, Eastrop and Southfield, in 2018 after working at Dolby Laboratories head office.

Bex Goodman 

Curriculum Improvement & Professional Development Lead

Bex joined Grove Learning Trust in April 2023, having taught across the primary age range, as well as in an all-through international school. Prior to joining GLT, she spent 6 years in a senior leadership role, taking the school on a journey from Requires Improvement to Good. She also led trust wide networks and provided curriculum support to other schools during this time. She completed her NPQH in 2022.
